Using bold patterns in the home can be a little intimidating. Instead of shying away from strong, graphic patterns try embracing them! Nothing brings instant movement to a space like a graphic area rug or punchy accent pillows.
Focus on one or two statement pieces with pattern rather than using the pattern everywhere in the room. (Matching headboards, bedspreads and curtains are so old fashioned). When mixing multiple patterns together either stick with the same color family or repeat the same general shape. Most importantly, have fun!

Karen Evans I like the look of using two different patterns in a room. However, when using 3 or more, it can look a bit too chaotic for my taste. I prefer a stripe, a graphic print and a solid.
