breakfast bar at pass through
small compact red cabinets although i don't like the crown molding
clean, small, with a work island. imagine the PoV is from a pass thru into my diningroom
again love the small yet useful and flowing, with a functioning island that can be both a breakfast bar on one side (DR side) w stoools, AND a work surface on the other, the kitchen, side.
obviously a way bigger space but i like the colors, textures, materiials: white color of the cabinets is soothing (although not the style), wooden floors match rest of our old house, and the persian carpet is part of our homey aesthetic.
Cabinet facings. like these more minimalist ones.
another great tiny kitchen with an open flow, counter as an alternative to a pass-through or island. the colors and feel of wood, white and turkish rug.
another nice small galley kitchen - altho of courseours isn't high- ceilinged and you have to cut the room off before the table) -- if we were to do almost nothing but reface the cabinets and floor with a modern, fresh facing and real wood underfoot
totally not this style but the idea of a tiny galley kitchen that opens by virtue of a half eating counter/halfwork surface that opens into the DR
Forget about that table. just the idea of the shape of the counter/work surface joining up into the DR -- and the compact clean linesin a tiny kitchen ...
Ivanhoe Sinclair Porcelain Pendant - $175
i like this plain pordcelain pendant because it's era appropriate and nice and practical
district pendant lamp - $299
also cool in a 1930s factory way -- like this, but not so expensive
shape of kitchen. but my DR would be where the photographer is standing instead of in the rear. like white pendants, window to garden.
i like the textures and colors. The wooden top white island, the 30s pendant lamps, the peaceful color scheme, pelntiful storage, tiles back splash.
Cut off the LR and this is a wider space than ours, but I like this shape and flow: the open flow between LR and kitchen, the useful counter. No door to outside, but windows on the rear wall.
