This past weekend, my husband and I made a quick trip to Ikea on the hunt for two things: an inexpensive sofa for our family room and a child-size table. I've been busy collecting the cutest vintage child-size chairs you've ever seen and needed a modern little table to complete the set.
I'm happy to report we left Ikea that day with exactly what we were searching for. Since then, our two youngest children have been happily playing school, coloring and coming up with every other excuse to use their new table and chairs. Who knew providing kid-size furniture would be so life changing?

P.S: You might luck in and find one in their 'scratch 'n dent 'n damaged' section that you can recycle. The one I had got was plain finished and slightly marked but at the same time any table will do. Just cut down the legs and you might want to slightly round the corners off. :)
