You're probably familiar with ornately carved claw-foot furniture, but have you noticed any furniture with unique feet, paws or hooves? Made popular by designer John Dickinson back in the 1970s, these arresting table, bench and chair legs draw the eye to the floor, where a whimsical surprise awaits. One of the most famous tables with notable feet is the African Table by John Dickinson. While the original plaster tables can run about $16,000 at auction, Sutherland has recently gained the rights and the molds for rereleasing these designs in reinforced concrete with glass fibers at more affordable prices.
