Houzz is the new way to design your home.
These are some visual ideas I had for the house. I will write a little about each picture and where I would like to incorporate them in the house.
Bathroom cabinet storage. This is what I was talking about in our meeting.
Perfect look for dining room. This is my ideal look. I want the ceiling just like this.
A must have in under the stove top storage.
Also a must have.
This is an idea for the downstairs half bath/ office.
This would be a thought for the other side of the steps in the basement near the workout room.
Downstairs half bath/ office.
This is similar to the color of cabinets I want in the main floor wash room. I have decided to go ahead and have laundry rooms on all floors. Great open shelves over washer and dryer. I would like the cabinet maker to build the platform for them and I will show you a picture of what I want.
This is what I have decided to do downstairs. I will get a stackable but still want this to look like part of the kitchen. One cabinet for appliances and the one beside it for baskets and laundry stuff.
Showing you a better pic of basement laundry idea. would like this faced with cabinets but would like to have this counter space for folding and storage beside it. Again needs to be covered.
I am going to look at the size of the opening under the steps in the basement. May decide to close door way in exercise room to safe room and make entrance under steps to be smaller and less visible.
This was my interpretation of a small bookshelf at the top of stairs. Different but interesting. I think this would work.
I am going to revisit cabinetry in the master bath. Can't quite get the perfect vanity picked out for the area under the transoms.
I have decided to scrap the large hearth idea on the main floor. I think stone with wood surround tying into cabinetry would look better.
This is not the look of course but similar to the concept. It has the mantel breaking up the space.
Minka Aire Gyro Ceiling Fan - $522
I would like fans like this under the covered porch. I think they make them to mount. No need to have them attached to light but it is neat.
Love the stone columns under the deck. This is a great look. Thinking about making the basement exterior stone.
Again, not exactly like the house but nice look incorporating the stone.
This is the side view of the house. Really think the stone looks good just wrapping around and staying at he same level.
I think Jim spoke to you about having the deck waterproof. I am going to look into this for the basement patio area.
Think this is similar for the stain I want in the kitchen. I like the color with a slightly lighter wooden floor but not one with this much grain.
Similar to the bar area from the living room to the dining area.
We could put some recessed areas for storage on the left side of the stove top. We can conceal the other side with cabinets in the pantry.
Need to get with you again about Leah's bathroom upstairs. I think this is a good concept but I have an idea I need to run by you.
Thinking a door may not be a bad idea but need your thoughts on some sort of heating in the ceiling for this area.
Similar to the stain and color of island. Think a darker counter will look good.
Note the the molding, stain.
Like this look for cabinets in the kitchen
Would like to put some recessed areas in the stone above the stove top and maybe a mantle
Really think a few sconces would look nice in the stairwell to the basement.
Close to the garage door concept.
Think I will do the large hearth in the basement with just shelving above.
SpringSaver Rainbarrel - $129.95
Would like to have this under some of the gutters to water flowers with
I would like to use stamped concrete on front porch and basement area.
