I have a very white/cream scheme in my home. I am finding it hard to add some color. It seems to take away from the power of the white. Does anyone else find this to be a problem? How do you decide what to add?

Royaltygirl - it's got to look right for you, but as with the bold red painting I commented on, the white/cream scheme background is so versatile. Try accessorizing with bold colors for vases, throw-blankets, pillows, flowers, rugs. Against the white/cream, the more brilliant the better. And when you get bored with one combination you can mix it up with new accessories.
