Erin Wright is so creative!
porch material choice seems costly, but I like the look
I love this garage
This is a great possibility--build a structure to stagger alongside our house that echoes the profile.
This style would work with our house
I don't care about this "look", but the layout is interesting. The issue with our steeper and lower grade on the west side of the house---garage entry could be lower on the garage door-entry side, facing the road, built into the grade. The master bedroom suite could be upstairs, with the garage a half-floor down from existing house and the master bedroom suite a half-floor above existing house. This would mean having only one 30' x 30' concrete slab, instead of two. The only issue is getting the bathroom to drain into the septic tank, but since it is technically "above" the tanks, upstairs, it might work fine. This plan could save a lot of money, I think.
kitchen open to the great room because everyone gathers in the kitchen
any windows facing the road should be sound-insulated and high in the wall
connecting the house with the garage
too much window here, that do not open, but I want to see the outdoors and the garden from the addition
I love this dock.
This house is in Austin. I have a lot of images I took of it on my computer.
