Kind of like lemon juice, a little can go a long way. Nothing speaks to spring more than this version of yellow — bright, bold and full of life. Whether you decide to anchor a room with this color or just use it as an accessory color, there is no better way to bring personality into a room than by adding a bright, happy splash of sunshine.
Tip: When choosing a bright yellow, go bold. Anything less than that will feel a little too pale. Try something like Benjamin Moore Limon or Lightening Bug — they have just a touch of coolness in them to keep them from being too neon. Balance out with black and white, or maybe a deep brown tone. If painting a room bright yellow is too much, use in accessories. Bright pillows or artwork are a great way to add this vibrant color.

It happens in threes. Three lemon-yellow colored pillows help to draw the eye to the back of the bed, making it the focal point of the room. The pillows, patterns and three geometric mirrors are a nice balance with the low- profile headboard, side tables and lamps.
Nice legs. This is a stylish color integration. The added curves of the leg and front of the table work well with the pattern on the pillow tying the pieces together nicely.

Color therapy. This nice relaxing space with neutral tones throughout is thrown a curveball with a bright console against the window. It helps reflect the light and adds a burst of color and personality.

Something old, something new. This contemporary and bright yellow color is nicely juxtaposed against the rustic and traditional look of this kitchen. Color is a great way to unify different elements within the room.

Nature-inspired design. I love the brightness and pattern on the three wall panels, combined with the low, zebra-striped stools and sculpture.

Accent with red. This room throws the use of lemon yellow all around, with red being the accent color. It must be like walking inside the sun!
Romance meets Hyde. The bold winged lemon yellow chair with a textured hide fabric is a fabulous contrast to the matching black chandeliers and the romantic whites of this bedroom. It is a great addition to this sanctuary.
The eyes have it. This is an interesting and well executed wall treatment and color choice. The bold face of the wall treatment and swirling pattern in the chairs work nicely against the bright yellow pillows, helping soften the high contrast patterns in this eye-catching style.

Color and scale. First, I love this little chair! This children's playroom is splashed with bright and playful colors against a light lavender wall, creating an inviting landing spot for the kids.
Playful materials. This bold use of lemon yellow on the countertop is a daring use of color, and I applaud the selection. Nothing would make me happier than being in this kitchen everyday.

| The bright outdoors. This boldly colored lemon yellow (with a touch of green) is an excellent way to add some interest and color to the natural materials often used in exterior design.

Danielle You know I love yellow, remember my front door? I agree that bright lemon yellow is wonderful however I disagree that anything less than this "bold" yellow will feel 'pale'. I think that a little 'mellower" yellow like in the pics below look totally tropical and still keep a little coolness in the space.
