7 Signs You Work From Home
It may be hard to clock out when you work from home, but you'll always find a kindred spirit at the water cooler
Houzz Contributor. I started drawing as a child, from the time I could pick up a pen, and my father and mother encouraged my interest in art. My father, a physician and WWII veteran (flight navigator in Europe) was also a painter who was passionate about his art. He and my mom were also great fans of the work of New Yorker cartoonist James Thurber, so I grew up surrounded by his books and art. My Dad showed me the work of classical artists and told me never to give up and never to compromise my vision. I also had the privilege of studying animation and character design with the late Joe Ranft, of Pixar Animation and Mike Giamio of the Disney Studios. I'm proud to have my cartoons featured on Houzz.com
