I like the idea of a cutout in the wall used for bench seating on one side of the table. Very good use of space and with contrasting color, a great decorating accent as well.
Not these in particular, but a great idea to have little cutout niches in the wall, with accent colors and lighting, to really make it interesting and appealing without overwhelming the room.
Everything you need in your laundry room.
Dog washing tub in the laundry room - nice.
Have a drip-drying location in your laundry room.
Tiled floor with floor drain - definitely a good idea. At least some kind of waterproof flooring with a drain.
Built-in hampers for sorting clothes without piles on the floor - nice!
Brizo Venuto SmartTouch Faucet - $567
Touch- and proximity-activated faucets for kitchen andmbath
Instead of having a single giant room for your MBR, how about having an adjoining sitting area that's a little bit separated, maybe by as much as a real door as shown in this photo. Seems like it could be a very nice idea for a separate study or meditation area.
Warming drawer for cups - nice!
Amazing view - presumably there are drapes or blinds somewhere.
Love how this corner of the room lets in so much light while containing the staircase which, in turn, is very open and light from a visual design perspective, even though it's industrial design is a bit cold and elements of it seem heavy.
With a ceiling that's about 6 feet lower, this could be both an intimate and modern room,
Compact, efficient office space
Really like the idea of incorporating a hutch/china cabinet into the island.
I like the stairwell window and the wood fireplace surround is a warm and stylish touch against the white wall.
I always think there has to be a door you can close between the sleeping area of the master suite and the bath, but this is a very intriguing idea of how it could be done differently.
Camouflaged pantry door opens inwards. Great to have that space behind the appliances.
I am impressed with how the combination of ceiling articulation, the island and use of color and surface material have defined what's really a small kitchen into an attractive, connected and functional-feeling space.
I like that prep sink faces the great room and guests / family members.
Dishwasher on one side of the sink and pullout trash / recycling on the other side of the sink - ideal layout!
I totally want a drying cabinet. No more folding (and collapsing) drying racks.
Although, if it turns out that we can't afford a drying cabinet, then built-in drying racks like these seem a much better alternative than the Target models we've lived through.
Clever use of cabinet end - doors hide shallow storage for keys, dry erase board, cork board and magazine/printed materials storage.
Storage wall for the dining area
Not executed well here, but can imagine a beautiful storage wall topped by nicely lit display cubbys
Gravel drainage channel permits seamless level floor transition from out to in.
Recess at the floor edge accepts large 3 inch threshold while providing seamless transition
A private tub terrace makes the most of Hawaii's warm climate.
Indoors tub feels like outdoors
Shower's glass walls offer a feeling of showering outside while fence provides privacy.
