Houzz is the new way to design your home.
I'm still in love with black and white checkered floors.
wood floor in kitchen is nice against white cupboards. i also like the cupboards.
I just like the pendant light.
I like the floor, the balance and how they made the stainless steel work against the white and wood. It's a little smaller. I'd rather have an open kitchen with an island.
I like the idea of painting the outer base of the tub. Clever.
I like the ceiling.
I like the colors and how clean it looks. I would not have thought to put a chandelier above an island, but I like it. I also like that the kitchen is painted white, but the tiles give it just enough color. I like how there is just a couple glass see through cabinets. And I like the extra wall space above the cabinets which give the room more space.
I just like the idea of having a central work space where I can do the calendar, the mail, the bills, the paperwork and stuff like that.
I've seen these lights before and have always liked them. What a great way to make a long hallway interesting.
I'm a sucker for splashes of teal. Especially when combined with the color white as well as dark wood. I also like this light fixture. And I like the playful/cheerful feel of the room.
I like the idea of painting the wall space in the food pantry. I also like the idea of a bold wallpaper going there. It's such a small unnoticed space that you can get away with something really bold.
I like the trees and the carpet with the wood floor. I would have gone with a less gray looking wall color.
I like the idea of having a pull out iron right in the closet.
This picture is a good example of how I am drawn to light, simplicity and chandeliers!
I like the picture on the wall. I also like how the candles are spaced with variety.
I like how clean, well lit and colorful this playspace is. The toys on the top shelf would be really hard to reach though. A colorful wooden step stool would be nice here.
I love the idea of putting a little play nook under the staircase. How much fun would that be for a kid!
How charming. Gorgeous with all the windows.
