Wood dining chairs are pretty much a staple of any garage sale or flea market. They're everywhere! But more often than not their style leaves something to be desired.
Paint is a good way to upgrade a tired set, but that is a seriously time-consuming process typically involving sanding and at least a coat or two of color. But this trick doesn't even require one full coat of paint — it's more a stole or a shrug, actually.
I don't know about you, but all of a sudden I'm craving cookies dipped in milk!
Tape off the top of your chairs and paint them a clean white, or go for a visual punch with hot pink, peacock blue or any other bright color. I could see this trick working to unify a mismatched assortment of chairs too.
