Master Bathroom
Like the floor. I was looking at something smaller but I'm really attracted to this tile. I also like how they did the bordering on the tile. I also really like how they did the subway tile and crown molding and floor molding, that really gives it a traditional colonial feel and bead board look. I'm not sure about paint on the wall, now I'm wondering about wall paper to make it more classic.
Like how its put together. Might see if that's something that our guys can make, or close to it. I also like the sconces on either side of the mirror, but they would need to be wired to be turned on separately since one would serve as the light over the tub for reading. Talk to Vinnie about whether something like that could be done.
This is a drop in, but wouldn't you get more space for a platform to set things on with an undermount?
Go look at American Standard website too. Is it a drop in, undermount or alcove? It seems like the undermount gives you more of a platform around the edge so that you could use it.
This was similar to what we had in the City, which I loved
I like this but think it might be really heavy for that room
I hate the black granite top, but I like the clean and more modern lines of the chest.
So, if we did a closed vanity (i.e. with drawers), I would want something like this, although I'd want the sink recessed, I don't like it sitting on top like that. So I assume that we would lose the middle drawers. Or do a nice white porcelain sink to sit on top with vintage fixtures, that would look really cool.
What I like about this in a small space is that it opens up the room nicely. But we'd have to have a rockstar of a linen closet/storage to get away with this. And what about all those daily things like tooth brushes and paste? Maybe not practical unless we could put a bigger useful cabinet above the sink. Also, check out Signature Hardware, there is a similar vanity there that would have one drawer.
possible but a little too antique
Cut out
