like area rug under bed
I like the indented niche but then that eliminates the chance to rearrange furniture.
Tray ceilings are really nice but don't put one in if it adds to the cost of the house. That's a 'want', definitely not a 'need'.
Separate nook for seating is a nice feature.
Bay windows are a nice feature.
Not my favorite picture.
I'm not a fan of stuff built in around the bed. Either side is okay, but not a unit that comes across the top of the bed.
I could definitely live with this closet!
The built-in cabinets look great but I don't think we'll have room for them in our closet.
this uitility room looks great but my utility room won't have space for any of this except maybe the cupboards over the washer & dryer.
I like the idea of a pocket door for the study, too, but there's no room to build it into the wall.
The long row of floor-length windows definitely make the room look larger and lighter.
This would be both an efficient use of space and an attractive configuration but the dark wood makes it look overbearing and heavy. Perhaps using a lighter wood or painting the wood white would help.
Having the desk space face each other is a novel option. I like it but would it interfere with opening the day bed?
The desk area is nice. I don't want a ton of space built in for books because I have very few books left.
The ceiling to floor cabinet is nice. I can store a lot of stuff in there and yet the room will always look neat.
I"m not a 'display all' person. I'd rather have scissors, ribbon, etc. inside of a cupboard, hidden.
LOVE the idea of drawer or cupboard dividers for baking pans, serving trays, etc.
I love the storage space if this is inside an enclosed pantry but I don't like all this stuff exposed in the kitchen.
LOVE IT! White on white.
If this is for the half bath, this is fine. If it's for the lg. bathroom, more counter space is needed. I like the chrome (or nickel or whatever) bowl for the basin.
Slide out shelving is fabulous.
I won't have much cupboard space so I hate to take up that valuable space with trash cans. Maybe I can just put a trash can at the end of the sink counter.
An appliance garage is a great idea for storing mixers (mine is too heavy to haul out all the time).
I love all the window space.
I really like the open look of the kitchen/living room areas. I also like the white finish on the cabinets.
Love the clean look of this kitchen.
Like the ceiling lights but the kitchen is way too dark for my taste. There is so much window space (which is great) but it doesn't leave room for much-needed cupboards.
Let's get real. I wash windows - that's what I do and there's no way I'm going to be able to reach really high windows like this. Better I should have cupboards there.
I need cupboard space in the kitchen far more than I need such big windows .
These seats look totally uncomfortable. I'd love seats that are padded.
This floor is almost identical to the flooring I have in my condo kitchen now. I like it.
White is good - very good - but all the pictures have to go. They make the wall look much too cluttered.
It IS white! I think instead of the towel hooks I'd put a picture of a flat-backed hanging vase with flowers on that plain wall to give the room some personality. And the back window would have to be glazed or have a shade that pulls down.
The picture behind the bed needs to be much larger but YES - white, light, and no clutter is perfect.
The drapes around the bed make the room look cluttered and smaller. I don't care for them (just one more thing to wash!).
I'm definitely okay with 'sleek' (as long as the chair seats are padded).
This floor is like the floor I currently have in my condo and I like it.
With all the cooking I do, hopefully I'll have a pretty efficient fan above the stove. I also assume the microwave will be built-in.
I like this color countertop, too.
One, maybe 2, glass-front cupboards may work but I'd like most cupboard doors to be solid (not see-through)
This kitchen is too sterile even for me. I like the look of adding doorknobs on the cupboards.
Noooooooooo! The planks on the floor are going in the wrong direction! They should be lengthwise.
Hmmmmm. The wood is too dark but I like the concept of lg. flat doors instead of conventional cupboards.
I notice that, even with recessed lighting, there are usually hanging lights above an island. Will I have (or need) these?
After looking at these cupboards, I don't like the plain look of the large flat surface afterall. Conventional cupboards with doorknobs is best.
If I have glass in any of the cupboard doors, I prefer clear glass.
If I'll have a corner cupboard, I like the ones that push open on both sides so I don't have to reach waaaaaaay back to get things.
If the counters were lighter, this kitchen would be perfect. Only one glassed-in cupboard is nice. Everything looks light and clean.
This shows sink & dishwasher on island but there's no counter space. I assume I'll have counter over the dishwasher. (Where else can I put dirty dishes and chop things?)
