With summer just around the corner, my mind turns to bringing the beach and all things nautical into the home. Think of it as a fresh approach to the sea. Hope you enjoy! — Melissa of Melissa Loves
Just a great looking mat, handmade and a wonderful texture!
This wall paper is so wonderful, isn't it? A dreamscape for any room and a beautifully expressive take on ships at sea.
Ann Wood is a magical creator. Her soft sculptures are not only beautiful but, fantastically detailed. One of her ships would be a dream to own.
Vintage always brings a fresh perspective into an interior, for me. This vintage fan has such a wonderfully unique face & reminds me of a ships propeller.
Simple and beautiful. So many options for personalizing the top of this coffee table with personal and meaningful things — books, objects from you travels, photographs, etc. The square shape really lends itself to that, I think.
I love the background of this painting, kraft paper inspired. The soft lines and soft blue are so pretty. Nothing like the fantastic & affordable art on etsy
I love metallics in any form, if the truth be told. And this beautiful gold nautilus is perfect for a little bit of shimmer.
So many lovely textures, so little time! I love the size and shape of these vintage baskets. They would be perfect for adding warmth to a room and to use for extra storage.
LOVE this vintage zinc anchor. A fresh take on adding the requisite anchor into any nautical interior.
I love this lamp, and this appears to be the most affordable option out there. It fits in anywhere, I think. But, with its capiz shell material it is perfect for bringing some sea life inside.
I love this mixed-media take on waves; beautiful blues and makes me feel like I am spending the day at the beach!
Just a gorgeous plate; unexpected and would be beautiful mixed with any other setting you may have. Plus, the neutral color mixed with the textured lines reminds me of sand on the beach.
This subtle napkin has such a handsome pattern as well. I love its subtlety and pretty deep blue.
Perfect. South of France beachy and "LOVE" — what else is there? Helen Dardik's work always makes me happy!
A good reminder for all times, but especially apropos for summertime.
I am loving rope on pretty much anything; it adds such warmth and depth.
I admit, I am coveting one of these myself! And it is resin so there is no guilt involved. :) Although, reclaiming a vintage one is a nice option too.
Hammocks & High Tea has beautiful organic textiles made by a lovely lady named Karen. Beautiful blue and awesome pattern. What's not to love?
Multi-purpose in my mind...great for extra casual seating on a porch or at a coffee table. But, it can also be used to hold books on top or a large shell...or whatever you can dream up!
I love shells and really love the idea of giving new love to a vintage collection. Although starting your own from your own travels adds great memories to the collection!
