I like how on the door storage makes the most of the deep space--that's my big complaint about the penninsula we have currently--it is hard to get to whatever you have in the back.
I don't know if this works in our kitchen or not, but I've never seen actual corner drawers before. I do like our upper corner cabinet because it has 2 lazy susans in it--good for storing things like vinegar, oil, molasses, fish sauce...
This arc is much more stylish than the current angular cutout between the kitchen and informal dining room
Cabinets go to the ceiling with glass doors and light for some display space. I have nice china but no place to display it--a buffet with a hutch in the formal front dining room could do the same thing.
What I'm looking at here is the relatively small island. I think this is about all we could have if we did have an island at all and it would have to be strategically placed not to block the path when oven, refrigerator, dishwasher are open.
Amazing idea--probably out of our budget
Could a space like this fit between the window that was the old side door and the window in the informal dining? I've wanted an actual desk space but have had trouble finding something that fits in size, style and function.
We need some bar space--we don't need anything as flashy as the refrigerator but if we're looking at built-ins for the family dining area bar space would be useful.
A pull out spice drawer like this could work. Currently I store spices in bins in a more standard upper cabinet, that way I can pull out the bins to search for what I need--but this looks much easier to work with.
Can't say what it is I like about this picture. I have no desire to use this corner design, I like our lazy susans too much but this just feels more like us than most of the designs I'm seeing.
I like that this looks more furniture like, Not a fan of the sink or the color per se.
I like the trim at the top--it makes the cabinet look at bit nicer without being too overdone. I don't really want something that looks too "shi-shi" or too country or too cheap. I'm having trouble finding the right combination.
I like the extra color on the cabinet doors and the style is pretty reasonable. Black?
The design of these cabinets feels closer to the feel of our home than many of the cabinets I've seen.
I like the idea of painted cabinets , maybe in a non-traditional color. I have a hard time feeling moved by wood finishes.
Is this a different view of the same kitchen with blue cabinets we've already seen?
I like that the details of the cabinet doors are not square. I'm concerned about things looking too boxy.
The color is not bad but what I like the most is that these cabinets appear to have space under them. When we had our rat problem, that space under the cabinets that is closed off from us was a safe place for a rat to run around and do damage without us being able to get 'em. Also, it's a nicer furniture like look.
Is this the sort of stove we're looking for? It has 2 ovens and large cooktop.
Yellow? another color option
Orange? Red? I'd like different details but it is something to think about.
Call me crazy but I like the tile
What is going on with the island color? Is this a light wood finish or a tannish color?
I like the style of the upper cabinets--the arched style with wood or glass.
2 tone? How many different wood finishes can you put together before it starts to look strange? (I'm presuming a wood floor woul add a 3rd color,)
This looks simiar to what we already have as far as style but it adds some glass fronts and light color
A pot rack over the sink? Interesting....
Our Kithen Aid does sit out on the counter all the time. The downside it it would reduce the counter space.
I do like how these island cabinets look like furniture. Probably quite expensive, huh?
