Farhat Dream Home
A little busy, but I love the rustic up-north feel of this home. Would look even better with dark windows.
Cool mountain home (though maybe a bit drab). Unique mix of roofing materials.
Nice craftsman home. Would prefer it to look a little more rustic with wood brackets and/or trim.
Another cool rustic home. Like how the trees provide privacy and downplay the size of the house. John likes the stream, but I would prefer it be dry.
But if it's wet, it better be in the backyard and somewhere highly visible for child safety
Killer back porch!
Like the bracket/hardware detail on the exposed beams
Like the stone and the old-fashioned cedar shake pattern on this house
I like the way the stained cedar shake looks next to the painted Hardie siding
I love the reclaimed brick and dark window combination
Nice use of stone and metal clad windows for a rustic feel
Want to learn more about this green slate-looking roofing material...
Interesting brick pattern for driveway and/or walkway. Gorgeous landscaping
Lush flowers with pops of color near the house (though this is a bit much)
As much natural looking landscaping as possible
Must have: garden space for herbs, tomatoes, peppers, and a few other veggies
Like the feel of this slate patio
We'd love an irregularly shaped pool with a hot tub (near the house) and a slide/water feature (on the hill side)
Nice waterfall and pool color
Another unique natural-looking pool, but this pool bottom/water is way too dark.
Coolest water slide ever!
Awesome outdoor shower
Exposed wood/beamed ceiling for a covered patio
Would also like a SMALL covered outdoor kitchen off the back of the house
We'll need screening around the open outdoor seating area for privacy
Natural looking steps around the property
Maybe there would be a natural looking walking path up to the top of the property?
This fence is kinda cool and unexpected
Love this front door!
I like this indoor/outdoor tile flooring
DuChateau hardwood flooring
I LOVE this grayish/reclaimed hardwood floor
More of the same type of floor
I also like the idea of having varying board widths.
I LOVE the feel of this kitchen space. It's fresh, modern, rustic, industrial and eclectic all rolled into one!
Maybe we could incorporate a herringbone pattern in the hardwood as a focal point in the foyer?
Another cool kitchen with large eat-in dining room space.
Like the open shelves in lieu of a bunch of heavy upper cabinets.
I don't love the color, but I'm kinda digging this old-fashioned kitchen floor tile
Not an animal head necessarily, but I like the idea of having something sculptural on the wall in the kitchen
There's something about this Acadia Quartzite that I really like. Clean yet natural feeling.
I also like this dark honed granite, but I wonder if it will drive me crazy because it would always look dusty.
I feel like I need a huge SS sink area to accommodate all my hand washing and air drying.
Perhaps something like this near the oversized SS kitchen sink area for wet bibs and rags.
