Augustine kitchen ideas
Jenn Ryan Designs
Here are lots of ideas for you to think over for your transitional, cottage kitchen. Have fun!
layout and opening to living room
extra deep island with veggie sink. Contrast of white vs dark
Love this one!
Love this one!
reclaimed island with stools that disappear even though they have backs because they are the same height as the island. One of my favorites.
cabinet/counter contrast with a great pic of what the end drink area could look like as you come around that corner. Love!
if you wanted more seating for the island
or you could have some open shelving
a spin on the idea for the island where the seating is facing each other.
butcher block on end? Curved hood, tile in herringbone pattern lends to old world.
deep wood island that would hide stools
an idea of what the wet bar/ snack area (smaller of course) could look like on the end of the bathroom wall.
dark island and floors in contrast with the white cabinet
an idea if you wanted to have a little counter separate the kitchen from the living room and then place a wine fridge in front for a drink station there.
reclaimed island with white cabinets
minus the table, this could be your look if the room stove was on the opposite wall. Love this one too!
chunky leg detail
another detail where reclaimed wood would look great!
another look for the feet
chunky leg detail and possible look for office in laundry
gorgeous and full of light
ceiling could be similar, layout is close if you turned the island and stretched it.
cute idea for extra seating
the wall behind the bathroom could be chalkboard. ;-)
cook book idea
lockers for entry area off the garage
idea of what a counter would look like that separates the living and kitchen if that is of any interest
idea of what it could resemble as originally drawn from the living room
idea for bay window area.
nice idea if you wanted the island to have storage capabilities on both sides and only seating on each end. You could create the countertops and cabinetry to come out to completely cover the stools at each end.
definitely way too modern, but wanted you to see this so you could see if you would prefer a "table" look at the island. We could create this by the actual island using the darker granite you prefer and then wrap it with reclaimed wood in a more cottage style.
if you really wanted to get nutty on the reclaimed look, this would tie in beautifully to your reclaimed island
cute pasta insert on end of island
flip flop the layout
island with many seats, layout is close!
