You might think it will look too matchy-matchy, but when done right, it becomes very contemporary chic. I used polished carrara hex-tile in my guest bath and love how it looks wet when it's not.
I designed a sports fans floor using his fave team for the concept. It was made on glass tiles.. also another client loved Monets waterlilies and so I designed a ceiling with this theme.. it could easily be used as a floor too.
