I would like either a mudroom like area where you can take off your shoes, hang your coat and purse for guests. I like some of the benches in the pictures but I want a bench where they can either put their shoes in a cubby or underneath the belly of the bench.

I like the idea of the table then the bench underneath if you need to sit to remove your shoes, then the shoes can go under the bench while guests are around.

Maybe a bench you can sit on and take your shoes off... then put under the bench (not IN)
