Orange County Ca native, grew up in by the beach, but prefer living in the beautiful and family friendly foothills of North Tustin. Finally found an ok house in a great, kid-friendly neighborhood. Spent a year and a half planning and remodeling an old 60's split level. Learned a lot along the way.

green paint with "contrasting finishes"
pretty. love the color against the house
how they deal with relentless western light
another great piece of painted furniture!
toile and stone
delicate red print quilt provides the color against white walls and dark wood furnishings
lovely shade of grayish green
hate the modern art pieces, but love with unique red rug against brown hardwood floors, crisp white paint and woven blinds (and bed too.)
traditional but funky at the same time. Love the floor!
at some point for Chase, since he hardly touches his closet
so much going on here....and it works!
hmmmmm....Ruth might like this if we re-do ours. Traditional modern. But do we want white kitchen cabs????? Donno.
all it needs is a colorful rug on the floor and it's good. like glass on top cabs
oh, i like this!
this is what a floating shelf should look like!
BM "swiss coffee" -- maybe for master????
like the contrast between the curtains and the walls.....the curtains have green in them but it's the off white and red that make it pop and make the green liveable and not smothering
sort of like what we did with our master, blending the curtains with the green walls, which for me, is too much green.
the furniture, the woodwork, the warmth, and the ikat curtains
tile that looks like wood, the butcher block table, all of it really. I'd throw a little more color in, but that's just me
the rug, the turquoise painted shelves.....thinking of this color to re-do our night stands
love the patterned runner......for next time maybe
