So what design ideas interest us? Natural light, neutral colors, and traditional design with a modern edge - that seems to be the aesthetic most of us are into. Add a few weathered and vintage-inspired touches, plus some creative and smart uses of space (especially for storage), and you've got a Houzz reader's dream home.
3. White, White Kitchen. This room combines several Houzz obsessions: natural light, open shelving, and clean white in the kitchen. Plus, love that marble island.
7. Uber-organized Pantry. This pantry makes me jealous. It's tucked into a wall, and not even all that big, but it's organization is so tight that it becomes dream kitchen storage.
10. Corner Bed. This space is fantastic. For one thing, it's a great use for a small space and it doesn't feel cramped thanks to the window. Plus, the addition of weathered accessories that have a vintage vibe makes it cool.
14. Muted Floral Parlor. This room is a little more formal than most of what's really popular here on Houzz, and it's a beautiful example of incorporating florals without going overboard.
16. Dining Pretty. This room combines natural light, great dark wood, an amazing light fixtures, and gorgeous green hydrangeas to create a lovely spot for a meal.
20. Weathered Kitchen. This space combines the white kitchen trend, turquoise and weathered elements for a perfect storm of a gathering and cooking space.
