Houzz is the new way to design your home.
That is just WOW. It doesn't need to be wood, either. Replaces the shutters idea, is easy to install, and the possibilities are endless. I can even use old doors to work with if I wanted to!
Puccini Chair Bed, Apple - GBP 599
I like that is is compact and versatile. Not too crazy about the color though.
I love this idea! I would like to find Wonder Woman-themed cloth and upholster old chairs.
This would make a great accent piece. I think the upholstery and/of the frame would really pop if it had comic book-inspired colors.
I love the idea of the narrow hallway framed by large windows in the background. This inspires me to dress up my hallway with a seating area and large paintings in the backdrop.
I like the idea of carving out a reading nook from an open space.
Carving out a space can include creating one by using a rug. I also really like the glass table and aqua chairs!
This is just gorgeous. I'd go for a more uniform color scheme and less "busyness" but I do like the overall effect. I love the plush pink sofa.
I like the creation of bedroom spaces, as well as the lighting added onto it. This style is a bit antiquated for my tastes; I don't think it would do well in a tropical environment. This leaves room for adaptation.
Now that I can see myself doing! It has all the elements I'm looking for - a platform bed with storage drawers, a separation from the rest of the open space, and a clean look.
I just love the division and usage of space here.
This is useful for carving out a dining area, and separating it from the rest of the living area.
I love the gorgeous color combinations!
I like the maximized use of space.
It's a great way to spruce up a very dark corner I have. It'll be a fun weekend project, too!
I love this idea because I really dislike the old, spidery-looking ceiling fan I have in the main room. What a pretty, inventive and cost-effective way to add some splash to a room!
My favorite color scale. Cobalt, Lapis, Indigo.
MeterPlug - $59.95
It's about time someone came up with something like this!
It's gorgeous! I don't like the chair with the back to the room ( a very common design technique for home offices) but otherwise, wow!
This is more me than any of the other pics. I especially like the metal desk.
Replace the wood with metal, and you've got me.
I love the Fusion table! I. love. it!
I like this idea too, because I have a lot of toys from my childhood just strewn about all over the place. This is a great way to display them! Maybe I'd find a nicer material or at least spray paint the cardboard, though.
