Deojay's high-rise was built in 1913 as the Bank of Italy. The original walls, floors and bar have "been within these walls for nearly a century," Deojay says. "I'd love to hear what they'd have to say."

"I have an obsession with vintage barware, so I'm always adding new pieces to my collection," Deojay says. She has her eye on highball glasses with gold banding. She created the yellow and gold painting.
The compact kitchen came with the lime green painted backsplash. "It was pure kismet and matches my accessories," says Deojay. A magnetic knife rack from Ikea lets her put her colorful knives on display.
Deojay carved out a vanity space outside her tiny bathroom and put mirrors to work holding jewelry, while a narrow shelf corrals makeup brushes.
