Pie-Stealing Poodle Happily at Home in an Artistic Household
Houzz member koolbeans brought Cesar home for a tryout when he was 6 months old. That was 9 years ago. Koolbeans admits Cesar does have several bad habits, such as "opening the door and making us chase him in circles for an hour before catching him," and stealing the tops off freshly baked pies. The holidays, when tasty treats line up on chin-height tables, get high points in Cesar's book. Here he takes a break from the action to grab a sunspot under koolbeans' own original art.

| Koolbeans' living room? It's a mix of styles. "I am much influenced by French design because my husband is from Paris, and his father was collector of fine pieces," she says. She likes to bring in exotic touches like the carved bench on the right. "It was given to me by a friend and it coincidentally matched with the carved artwork in my living room." We think Cesar adds the perfect white space to the composition.
