This has got to be the best example I've seen yet of trees in design. These aren't real trees but they look very realistic. They're on the entryway to a wine cellar here but I'd like to see them on a porch entry in my own home!
I like the idea of creating a nature-inspired mural in my home. I think that the black-and-white tree design here is great because it leaves a lot of options open for decorating around it even though it's a bold mural.
Choosing a tree-themed wallpaper seems like a great way to add texture to a room while bringing elements of nature into the design. I would like to see more nature-like colors here myself but I like the basic idea of designing a room in this way.
Sometimes I think that a whole mural or wall of tree designs would be too much. I like the idea of just choosing a great tree painting like this one to bring a bit of nature into my home. The green furniture adds to the earthy feeling.
I also think it's possible to bring subtle hints of tree designs into the home without actually choosing realistic tree designs to do it. This rug is a great example. The curves and lines in its design really look tree-like to me but the effect isn't as strong as it would be if the rug really had a tree depicted on it.
Of course, what I really want to do is to bring actual trees into my home. A lot of potted trees are too big for the house, though. I like this option which is to choose a large tree-like plant which fits into a room.
I also like the option of adding a bunch of small trees to a room in a cluster. I feel like this really gives off the impression that you're living inside of an indoor garden. I can definitely see relaxing in a space like this!
What I'd really like to find is a unique but unobtrusive tree that adds to a room's design. I love the sculptural look of this tree. It's thin and sits easily in a corner but it's still attention-getting. I wonder if it's difficult to care for a tree like this?
If you can't bring trees indoors then try to find a way to see your outdoor trees from inside. A bedroom that opens onto a tree-lined yard seems like the perfect way to do this!
