| Removing the many walls in the basement, raising the ceiling and opening the staircase dramatically changed the room's relationship to the outdoors. It's a walk-out basement — the house sits on a slope — and the windows let in plenty of light. Floor pouf: La Casa Decoto; area rug: Toy Poodle, Flor; wall paint: Windham Cream, Benjamin Moore |
