As a kid, my family would venture out to a little cabin in the woods during the summer months. It was pretty charming but it seriously pushed it in the "rustic" department. So these days I like to dream about a little getaway that leans a bit more toward the "refined." (Yes, and "quirky" too. My idea of rustic is a log cabin with a dainty velvet loveseat, as if it had been lovingly hauled miles from the East Coast in a Conestoga by a doting hubby, only to find his lady love has died of typhoid and so he nightly sits upon the velvet confection mourning for...but I digress. LOL!
