They are basically complementary colors on the color wheel. They'll pop when placed in a room against each other.

I use d it as an accent color in my livingroom.
With Purple vases, candles, pillows and flowers.
De rest of the room is cream.
If a house has colour in it when bought, the new owners want cream/beige!
If a house is all cream when it is bought, the new owners want colour!
Hate to admit it, but us home stagers are guilty of this "practice" as well!
