Marcia I just found (literally, on the side of the road) an old Army cot. That's what is in my garden!

debb v Sheila, here are a few pics of my 'bucket garden'. I have a large lot (3/4 ac) but little sun for all the oak trees so I garden wherever I can pop something in. The only thing in the ground in these pics are the green beans growing up the wall behind the house. It covers the ugly wall and gives us plenty to eat and freeze. Evertthig else is grown in five gallon buckets or pots or stuck inbetween shrubs. Since I can move the pots under cover during hailstorms I lose less tomatoes. I can also grow chard and lettuce much later by moving them into shade on days over 100 degrees.

zuitzy I have to thank my Arborist friend Jeanette for the great advice that got a 2nd round of blooms from the Valentine's gift orchid that I transplanted to a tree in my garden. It's the prettiest thing out there considering that the "garden" is still under construction.

Deb Welch We live in South Dakota and added a pond to our landscape 5 years ago. The first two pics were taken last July at a time when most of the plants are at their peak. The pond holds 8000 gallons of water and is about 20 ft. X 30 ft. It contains 30 various plants and over 100 koi and goldfish. The largest fish is about 2 ft. long. Last summer my husband designed and built a gazebo - screen room. We were limited on space due to a large tree so he built a 10 ft X 10 ft square one with a hipped roof and cedar shakes.
We have plenty of mosquitoes in the midwest so the bug screens are a must. We didn't want to have the screens closed all the time so I sewed screen curtains with a velcro center strip for easy closure. We chose to use a futon which opens to a double bed so we are able to sleep outdoors which is very relaxing as the gazebo is only a few feet from the pond with it's water fall. Each July we take part in a charity pond tour so it's fun to meet people and share ideas with the 300 people that walk through our yard in a single weekend.

Cindi Albright My MIL sent me several daylily plants from her collection in Ohio, I live in Texas and was so fearful that my extreme summer heat would fried them, but to my delight they have blessed me with the most beautiful blooms this year.

Debbiedoo's Not much of a gardener myself. However, my Mom is. I found the cutest garden quote and found inspiration in a mag to make something.

Lisa's Creative Designs I have a "Cottage Inspired" Garden. I've always wanted to live in the Country. Right now my garden is full of Black Eyed Susans, Geraniums, Hydrangea, Butterfly bushes, shasta daisies, Sunflowers and purple cone flowers. If I says "Country" to me I plant it!
