I am currently working on a few projects here in Boston where good utilization of space is the number-one design goal. This ideabook contains a variety of different products, starting at around $10, that I think would help maximize any living area. — Stephanie Sabbe of Sabbespot
These modern, magnetic pucks are great. When you are limited on counter space, you could place the knife on the magnet as shown instead of setting it down on a cluttered work surface.

| These modern poly chairs are so flat they would fit underneath a sofa. Then just pull out for a dinner! |
These would be great on a super small city patio. They come in all sorts of fun colors.
I love that this could be a console table six days a week, but opens into a table to seat six for a Friday night dinner party.
This line of Murphy beds is fantastic for city dwellers with limited square footage. I also love them because of their clean modern lines. They mix well with IKEA furniture.

When homes are small, bathrooms are typically incredibly small. I love the idea of reclaiming floor space with this super compact, wall hung toilet.
Here's a super compact waste bin for the bathroom that cannot spare a square inch.
I love this 24" deep fridge! Perfect for the tiny apartment or project that does not have the budget for a millwork surround.
It may be marketed for use on house boats and RVs, but I think stove top cutting boards would be a great use of space in a small apartment kitchen. More counter space!
This tiny apron sink is perfect for the bathroom that may not have room to have a full-depth counter. It's the size of a pedestal sink, but minus the pedestal and add the make-up counter.
These reclaimed, wooden, under-bed storage boxes are great. Who needs a bed skirt when you have something this beautiful holding your junk?

This is my favorite slipcovered sleeper sofa on the market. It folds out into a bed — perfect for homes with no spare guest room.
Shh, it's a knock off. Besides being a beautiful chair, these are great space savers because they nest!
This would be great for someone who works from home in a tiny apartment. It folds up to store away the desk, giving you the option to actually step away from your office and use the space for other things.
Sconces used as bedside lighting is a great space saver and a lot more functional than a lamp. This scissor arm sconce is one of my favorites.
The old medicine cabinet gets a slim new look! I love how this design even offers a his and her side.

Benches make for great compact seating around a dining table, especially when they fit fully underneath.

| Storage ottomans are my number one go-to for small spaces short on storage. I used this one on a project last year — great look for the price. |
It's the little things that make the big difference! We bought a lid organizer last year and it has really changed my life. When you have zero storage space, it's nice to be able to put to use as much vertical space as possible.
