Houzz is the new way to design your home.
The seat seems too deep for realistic use, but I like the repurposing of an unneeded closet, should such a thing ever actually exist.
Nice, cozy reading nook at the end of a room. I question closing off a window, but I suppose it would just be like shutting a curtain normally.
Perfect Harry Potter reading space.
Nice hall nook. Again, a repurposed closet.
Hells yes! A whole mini-library room, just segmented off the main living space with knee walls.
Nice use of furniture to create a sequestered corner to read in.
Inglenook for the win!
Nice recessed reading nook.
Awesome use of a large landing. Love the chairs and the chandelier.
Nice little place to sit and read
Nice office and reading nook built into landing. Nice use of space. I also like the lighting.
Just a little bit of space, but using the bookshelves as a railing and the built in seat make it a cozy reading nook.
Comfy chair and nice lamp/table. Good little reading corner.
Window seat, shelves and fireplace. Nice orientation of the essentials.
Excellent way to add a nook to a kid bedroom.
Gorgeous! All you need is a book and a blanket.
Under the stairs! Awesome window!
Lovely natural light. Nice use of space. Love the colors.
Perfect. A nook with a view!
Technically a game nook, but still. What a cool way to use an oversized landing.
What a combination- book shelves, window seats and an amazing view! Love the wood ceiling too. Wow!
I like the club chairs and the window bench. If that round chair had been a loveseat or couch, this would be the perfect set up for family communal reading. Everybody sitting around buried in their own book.
