This month I am dreaming of running off to a beautiful little Scandinavian summer cottage...but sadly, that is not in the cards for me! So instead, I have rounded up 20 of my favorite finds to recreate the look and feel of a Scandi getaway at home. Think white floors, crisp blue and white ceramics, luxurious textiles, and eclectic decor finds with a global feel. Happy summer!
This darling little faux bois cake stand would make anything from blueberry muffins to layer cake look even more scrumptious. No treats on hand? No worries. It would be cute with a little potted fern or vase of flowers on top, too.
by India Rose
»
This ruffled shower curtain from India Rose is worth the high price tag because it makes any bathroom feel insanely decadent. I have one in my own home and it makes me smile every time I see it!
by Pigeon Toe
»
These ceramic string lights from Pigeon Toe are so much chicer than the usual plastic variety! String them up over your dining table, indoors or out, to create an inviting mood.
I love the cobalt and white stripes on this pitcher from Design House Stockholm — it screams summer to me. Can't you just imagine pouring yourself a glass of fresh-squeezed orange juice from this lovely jug at the breakfast table on a sunny Sunday morning?
I would love a few of these deck chairs from Gallant & Jones to place in my backyard for summer afternoon reading! The fabric sling and pillow are removable and interchangeable, so you can swap them out from year to year, and the hardwood frames are handmade with care, so they'll last forever.
by Les Indiennes
»
Les Indiennes is one of my favorite textile companies, producing fresh, simple block-printed designs on organic fabrics. This soft cushion would be perfect for curling up with on your daybed for an afternoon nap, and I love the small, subtle print.
This daybed from Williams-Sonoma Home has me fantasizing about sipping limoncello while gazing out at the sea... but I suppose I would settle for my backyard.
by Anthropologie
»
This chunky octagonal table inspired by Moroccan archways is calling my name! I can just imagine spreading out a stack of fresh magazines and a glass of mint tea and kicking my feet up here after a long day at the beach.
If you haven't stumbled upon Le Souk yet, you are in for a real treat! Shop owner Danielle de Lange curates the most amazing collection of decor finds from around the world, and her taste and aesthetic are flawless. I love this embroidered pouf; I would use it as flexible seating, but you could also place a tray on top and use it as an alternate coffee table.
Decant your own inexpensive "house wine" or ice water into this carafe from Toast for a festive twist to the everyday.
I would use these little glasses for sipping rosé in the garden.
These heirloom-quality linen cocktail napkins with monograms from Julia B. would add a glamorous note to any summer fete. I am partial to the feminine light pink — pink makes me happy!

I've had my eye on this tablecloth from Anthropologie for a while now. The stripes, fringe, and muted color palette add up to make my ideal summer table covering, whether indoors, dining alfresco or even camping!
Dimensions: 72" x 90". Larger size also available. Cotton, polyester. Machine wash.

I love finding little things that bring beauty to everyday moments, like this delicate golden spoon from Canvas. Use it to stir your coffee or tea, or set it in a bowl of sugar or spice.
Made from chicken wire under acrylic, the graphic pattern of this unique serving tray would make an eye-catching backdrop for a stack of books, a small vase of flowers and a lovely candle.
Dimensions: 23" x 17". Indoor/outdoor use.

Stray Dog Designs is a wonderful company known for their use of eco-friendly recycled materials and fun color choices. This papier mache faux bois mirror is one of my favorites from their collection. It's statement making without being over the top, and I think it's especially lovely in this pale violet.
Hand painted elephant stationary from John Robshaw would be a fun indulgence. It looks so exquisite I would have a hard time sending it off in the mail! Luckily it comes in a set of six, so I could pen notes to five dear friends and still have one card left to look pretty on my desk.
The sunny yellow color of the glaze on this unique bud vase from KleinReid caught my eye. It makes quite a statement and will elevate even the simplest cutting from your garden.

| These linen blankets by Coyuchi look so luxurious, don't they? I would keep one handy for snuggling under on cool summer nights stargazing in the backyard. |
These sweet little votives would be beautiful lined up down the center of an outdoor dining table, and the lavender and lime color palette is one of my favorites for summer.

myhouzzisyourhouzz WOW! Beautiful items. The White Devil curtain is amazing. And is that gold inside the bowls, too? The bud vase is wonderful. I can see them lined up on a dinner table for a summer gathering. Gorgeous. Thank you very much. Loved this.

Lily Gahagan I am notorious for breaking wine glasses, but I think those little French numbers might stand a better chance in my clumsy paws.
