| The smallest finds are the ones that can easily get lost in the shuffle or look junky. A traditional way to elevate these finds is to add a sense of wonder by exhibiting them behind the glass of a bell jar, otherwise known as a cloche.
An interesting arrangement in this bell jar showcases a delicate bird's nest sitting on small tower of books. The lone antler nearby adds a relaxed note to the study in nature. |
| Gather some handsome twigs and branches and displaying them by leaning on a wall. In the home office, these will provide a constant source of inspiration every time you look up from your work. |

| Nothing is as lovely as a tree. For a real statement, use an actual tree trunk as a column. I don't know that this should be a structurally load bearing component of your house, but as a design element, it surely packs a punch. |
The antler chandler is a want of mine.
With that said, I absolutely LOVE the standing trees in the home office and the weathered wood strands. I think I'll use the standing trees idea, but also mount them in place and use low-VOC paint to paint the branches on the wall - kind of a 3D forest aspect :)
