Houzz is the new way to design your home.
I like the way the bookcases turn the corner, making it less of a box for the room.
Wouldn't this be a lovely look for the loft or for the small space off the loft. Looks very cozy and comfey. I wonder if there would be a way to put the white iron bed or another pull out bed under a row of shelves, then pull both beds out to make a king bed...
Nice for the turn on our stairs
love the space, hate the colors
This room makes me want to turn the loft into the MBR
The wall color, oh the wall color. Where can I get that wall color? If I use that in the loft with the toile chairs and the pottery, the throw and the lattice rug and lots of white paint it will just sing.
Frame the prints for the Conrad?
Maybe this instead of the traditional blue & white. Or maybe use the paint color with the blue and white I have.
This approaches the look
The color palate would work with the Hemnes linen cabinet
The loft is the room and has the colors for mercury glass
That photo wall knocks my socks off
Build bookcases around the big window and put the Conrad in a glass case? A lot of light, but after us, who cares?
In the small fortune category, put white wood blinds in window space behind Conrad, have with remote control to raise and lower and open and close blinds
Use the Hemnes linen cabinet for the sextant and so on, Conrad on top, lucite to cover the opening for the Conrad. Or win the lottery and get this custom made to size.
Pull one or more of the prints out of the coffee table books and get framed?
What a clever idea for a chandelier. Can buy any chandelier with good bones, spray paint white and add sea stars
The look I crave for the loft
Turn the media area into a cozy reading spot with the iron flatbed. Shop my linen closet for covers that don't say bed time and for pillows.
Love the dark color at the back of the bookcase and the idea of painting mismatched items that have a great shape.
Love the tripod lamp
Should I rethink the loft? This space is 400 square feet, but the really crucial area is the viewing area for the TV.
Another view of the sofa
Oh I love that cocktail table. what a wonderful look, and what a gorgeous color.
Layer a colorful rug over a neutral to change with the seasons or just for a special season.
Keep the cat out of the upstairs when we are gone
