DIY under cabinet lighting later wired into switch.
Counters and sink are in but not the backsplash.
I do love my new sink - Kohler Whitehaven short apron front - it can be installed on standard sink base.
The old cast iron sink is headed down to the basement kitchenette - a work in progress on a very thin budget.
Real beadboard - this area is usually covered with coats and shoes:)
Removed carpet and finished stairs.
This is beadboard textured paintable wallpaper.
Some of my old 70's kitchen cabinets were painted and put in the laundry room.
Under cabinet lighting DIY Since this pic my electrician wired it to a switch - so no more hanging plug.
The cost of a new cabinet was too much - so refinished the original 70's cabinet and had a carpenter make two new doors as the others were in poor shape.
Flaked Pearl (Menards) also LG White Pearl quartz
Basement kitchenette - getting the pieces together
Need a little something over the sink, but done for now.
LG White Pearl: This is a little more gray and white then it really is, but good example of the general look.
