I've also used a vintage Japanese obi belt as an art piece on a narrow, tall wall. There is a great variety of patterns and colours available and you can often pick them up on ebay for very little!

I used a particularly colourful Pashmina as a window treatment on a small window in a guest bath. It added just the colour boost to an ordinarily drab little room and offered lots of options for coordinating accessories.

I also used a multi-colored pashmina for my window in a room I was renting once. I couldn't paint or change anything to the room except the windows...several people commented on how nice it looked.

I LOVE SARAH'S HOUSE - I recognized that quilt right away - it's so beautiful and not too-too country! That orange and turquoise one is a real favorite of mine as well - I don't think I'd ever thought of putting those colors together before I saw that photo on houzz. Great ideabook!
