like the windows, open space, use of multiple wood tones,, but would not want the blank panel cutting across the windows. like the look of the wood ceiling but wonder if it would limit the colors that could be used in the space
Open layout. Stone, wood,...
use of multiple materials-dark and warm wood tones, stone, concrete, glass...like the tower/high ceiling in the center of the house
privacy created by building, runs parallel along the house shape
Exposed brick/stone inside. looks inviting
windows, fireplace separates living and dining areas instead of a wall, like the wood on the high ceilings in this case. Also like the glimpse of stairs on the other side of the room-looks like split with a landing rather than all of the stairs going straight up/down.
Like the small landing before stairs lead down. Upper and lower levels feel very connected. Like the nook on inner wall (would not actually put fish there!). Stairs along outer wall take up space that could be view of outdoors, however, it could be an interesting way to get more natural light in that stairway. Great look if it could be set a little further away from entry door.
another view of staircase/downstairs in this house. like the "earthy" mix of finishes and building materials
Solid front door (wood tone instead of metal as shown) with side lights and high windows above the door.
Solid front door windows around it for light. Dark window frames, wood paneling on entrance roof, stone exterior near door.
interesting blending of wood tones, brick, stone and more modern look in kitchen
