As a kid I used to make "desks" on the kitchen table between lunch and dinner for "my work" and my mom would let it fly as long as it was cleaned up before the first plate was set.
Ever since then, I have found myself re-arranging and organizing desks and tables any where around me!! But never once did it occur to me to really pick and arrange objects on a desk in terms of DESIGN!!! Beautiful!

That issue is addressed in the first paragraph. I think you'e interpreting the title as "Do these different things to try them out," when it's really:
"You have a certain personality you are not expressing because of habit or convention. Try these things to better express your personality in your decor."
I alway's live by trying new thing's, if you don't you will never get to experience life..
