thoemmes stair railings/balusters
too ornate for our taste but beautiful hand wrought metal from Maynard studios...check it out!
Another idea from Maynard Studios, perhaps a bit too ornate, but beautiful detail and nice use of metal with wood hand rail.
Nice metal balusters, could do without the ornate detail at the bottom and perhaps integrated with wood hand rails rather than metal...or?
maybe too simple, but a nice look of metal baluster with wood hand rail.
Wow! Perhaps too much for our taste, but great movement up the stairs. Would it work with the straight line of our staircase or is it just suitable for a curved staircase?
Not generally attracted to simple wood spindles, but this is a very interesting look with a lot of movement.
Nice metal baluster, could probably work with our straight lines.
Even though simple white spindles are not generally what we are looking for, this is a very elegant look with the walnut floor, stairs, and wood hand railing all nicely integrated. Also nice curve with railing at bottom.
Nice balance between simple and ornate on the metal balusters. Also, interesting look on the bottom few steps by curving out to a wider opening on the bottom. Would this work in our setting?
Nice balance between ornate and simple.
simple pattern but enough to create interest and a pattern up the stairs.
wood spindles or metal? Interesting look.
twisted metal look adds movement and texture.
ornate but very subtle and graceful shaped metal baluster, wood elements a bit to heavy.
Nice movement with waving look of metal baluster
nice pattern/shape on the metal baluster.
another look at a wave patter integrated with straight and twisted patters.
