The garage in Chris of Just a Girl's home ends up being the primary entrance for most of her visitors. Instead of making everyone walk through a messy, unfinished space, she transformed this area into a spruced-up entryway. A coat of paint on the walls and door, some stenciled numbers, some hooks, and a few metal racks made a huge difference — without spending a lot of money.

| Sarah from Thrifty Decor Chick cleaned out all of the junk in her garage. Once it was clean, she wanted to keep it that way, so she used a combination of hooks and plastic holders to get everything up and off of the floor. Now, there's a place for everything, and everything has its place.

Erin even got super motivated and organized all of the screws, nails, tools, and other bits and pieces in this impressive plastic drawer system. Everything's got a label, and it saves her husband plenty of time when he's working on something around the house.

And through the above link, I found a photo of what ours looked like. I am hoping I'll find someone that can make me one. My kitchen is not very big in my new house to be, so I also intend to put some cabinets in the garage to keep my kitchen stuff that I don't use every day (stock pots, etc)

You could even do an outdoor umbrella style in the garage by simply putting it in an umbrella stand (the sand filled plastic ones are fairly cheap). Amazon also sells a variety of drying lines. I searched "clothes lines" and found oodles of them.
