Bits and pieces from my wish list... some that are splurges, some budget-friendly, but all beautiful! — Stephanie from Stephmodo
This looks similar to wire bins I've seen before at French flea markets...except these have a fun pop of color. I think I'd forever keep them emptied they look so fabulous on their own.
I love that milk glass isn't exclusive to vintage pitchers and cake stands. I think the pale green colorway is absolute perfection!
Definitely a splurge item, yes. But stylish enough you'd want to have it for ten years, so that makes it okay, right? I'm loving those mid-century lines...
Whether you share your living space with children or not, everyone needs to feel like a kid again once in awhile. What better way to do that then with a swing? This one is beautifully crafted using recycled materials and looks comfortable too.
It is incredibly difficult to find the perfect rug. I hope my hours of research save you from the same :) This is a fantastic modern rug that pairs nicely with more traditional furnishings as well. Wouldn't you be so happy looking at this cheerful pattern everyday? Oh, and did you notice the easy-on-the-wallet price? Wahoo!
Whether behind the couch or against a window, this simple Parsons table is the perfect go-to piece for almost any dining or living room. If you're trying to modernize a traditional space without going over the top, then the Parsons table is a sure-hit.
This chair is a spittin' image of a chair I barely lost hold of on Craigslist this week here in Seattle. Love the "Hollywood Regency" feel of this chair and feel confident it would work well in both modern and traditional spaces, particularly as a set of 2.
A proper bathroom requires two things: toilet paper and reading material. Find both in this space-saving, classically appealing accessory.
Appreciating the addition of "feet" to this simple cutting board. I imagine it doesn't move as much during cutting/chopping. Great gift idea too!
J'adore this French-inspired accent chair with the modern Moroccan pattern.
Beautiful, affordable, original art is so difficult to find... so let's start our search here! This little painting would be so cute in a boy's bedroom
If you're trying to modernize your traditional space, this is the perfect segue. Although it's a dresser, it would look fantastic in a hallway too.
While I tend to always purchase clear vases, I often wonder why I don't add more opaque ones to my collection as sometimes you really just want to hide the stems and solely focus on the colorful buds. This is the perfect vase for any occasion and that delicate bird is just about the sweetest addition ever!
These vintage industrial steel tank sculptures work well together or solo. They are the perfect statement piece for a man cave — or any masculine space, for that matter.
I cannot get enough of ikat... can you? This pattern truly takes the cake when it comes to upholstered pieces. The deep indigo makes it classic enough to last several years without looking dated.
One of my friends has this piece in her master bathroom and it looks amazing. Have you ever thought about dressing up a bathroom like that? If not, you should. It really elevates an otherwise mundane space. This bookcase is perfect in both traditional and eclectic homes.
Add structure to your space with this functional yet artful piece. If you're looking for something budget-friendly and non-traditional, this sculptural floor lamp might be the ticket.
A cheerful, yellow ikat to nicely accent those dark woods you have in your living room.
A simple stylish chair that's ideal for a little desk, a large dining table or in the hallway as an accent. Great mid-century modern lines and rich, warm color... oh, and it's under $100. Can you believe it?
Pretty turquoise blue/green glass sets off this unique industrial piece with a hint of "vintage". The perfect accent in an all-white kitchen!

A personal favorite of mine...I used to have one of these in my own space. The price point is out-of-this-world amazing and the light reminds me a little of the $600+ Restoration Hardware version. It looks more expensive than it is (in person) and is a nice piece for a smaller room that cannot get away with a larger lamp.
There is something about those exposed steel tension cables that makes this Italian-designed task lamp especially chic. I hate to stereotype, but I think this one will be particularly popular amongst the male folk. There is something masculine about every feature of this fantastic piece.
A solid piece, thanks to its sturdy cast iron base, this European-made task lamp brings color and warmth to the table with red cording and beechwood arms. Gorgeous.
True, it was originally designed for a factory in the 1940's, but I actually think it would be perfect over a modern, wood farmhouse table :)
