| Custom painted by Luna Murals, the White Rabbit greets you at the 4'6" high entry, making you want to follow him down a tunnel that literally gets smaller as you walk through. The height at the end of the tunnel is 4'. As Paul Hughes of Schrader Companies says, "It was quite a feat for the sheet rockers to make this look right." "Don't mind me, I'm late ... I'm late!" |

| Here's a view of the inviting entryway found in the side of a guest room. The entrance is beneath a stairwell landing below a sunken sunroom. "When Andy designed the home, we had this extra space and we suggested to the client this concept for the room to make the home family-friendly," Hughes says. If the playroom had not been designed, it would have become storage space underneath the stairs. |

| The tunnel, aka "the rabbit hole," leads to a delightful discovery: a secret Alice-in-Wonderland playroom. Furniture proportionally oversized for kids and a giant teapot are perfect for a tea party for big little people. Low ceilings add to the effect in this 8'x10' room, and painted quotes and beautiful murals inspire fun playtimes. I think the murals from AllisonCosmos were most applicable for everyday living. Best part is that the designs keep the vintage-yet-fresh look of the old Alice books.
