Houzz is the new way to design your home.
Shower accent lighting can highlight that wall of tile as well as serve as the nightlight to the bathroom on a dimmer - further accenting the focus wall.
This looks good because its clean - where are the bottles of "stuff"? the design should look good WITH that "stuff" in the shower not posing for a catalog. Window is awesome - what if that mural could change - like a digital screen that is water proof and can create a mood - either with the music or manually set...hmmmm....
Art deco - classic black and white
Great paneling - dark floors, not with a dog and not unless you don't like to dust - err - every day!
good detail, not over the top. this required a lot of planning to pull off.
Staging anyone? Why would u have a chair right in the path of travel? Whats on the other side of the wall behind the tub - and can it take the moisture from the wet area of the bathroom? And how do you keep that room warm after you step out of your soaking tub? How do you ventilate it when nature calls?
Um - why is the shower glass destroying the axis of this room?
Extending the tile around the windows.....
Adding casement at the doors to create an effect
Large curved island. Ceiling treatment would help these spaces read better
Tile detail at windows
lower ceiling over nook -
under bench storage - low back rest
subway tile with depth - need to see during daylight how this tile reads. Lighting is complex - cabinet, under cabinet and toekick.
how much more can be going on in this kitchen - the ceiling doesnt line up with anything, every surface has something on it, the detailing and individual cabinets add more and more lines......getting dizzy.....must....click .....mouse.....
Wide bead board on the island. Painted bead board on the ceiling
This is what I was talking about - but you all looked at me like I was on crack
Layout ideas - notice the mirror on the door?
Door hardware, thin radiator, door panel
Traditional backround with modern accents
tile on accent wall
Industrial turn of the century look
Added end cabinets
herringbone tile pattern
has that touch of art deco
Perfectly practical - so the steam fogs up all the mirrors and windows and moisture is everywhere - I love climbing steps when I am soaking wet and just the hint of soap somewhere so I can fall into the glass and then crash down on to the hard tile - brilliant!
wood ceiling - pocket doors - modern but could be retro
classic - with detail to match
