Smoke Embers #1466 Benjamin Moore
What can I do with that space under the stairs? This is the ultimate answer!
Kudos to the creator of the vignette. I almost passed this by as I'm not much for seasonal exterior dressing. What caught my eye was the staggered pots and pumpkins (squash?). This is real creativity.
All I can say is I LOVE this. It's so not me, yet I can't help but think of how freaked the neighbours in the traditional bungalow were when it went up!
Likes: single wall treated with stone rather than traditional "wrap"; mirror split by floating shelf
Modern. Elegant. Wrapping the countertop incorporates the island seamlessly.
The wooden countertop surround and stools immediately add warmth to a sterile environment, without competing.
example of "tension" Modern table, fixture, accessories, traditional seating and antique sideboard...well executed...

Beautiful! Note dark floors, significant trim, colour combination and ceiling detail. Elegant and balanced masculine/feminine energy.
stunning use of black as accent
AWESOME -- narrow shoe storage!!!!
use of wall to create storage and a focal point; deals with doorway to left and creates interesting balance
LOVE the pops of rose in a neutral setting; feminine yet not overpowering

love the tradition of it all...makes you want to curl up and read a book...
classic, tasteful, inviting
ingenious! everything is "floating"...one change I'd make is the art work at the end of the vanity would be a punch of colour just to create tension
crisp, clean, soothing, inviting, traditional and elegant
refreshing, spa-like leverage of sea-foam and white
neutral and soothing, creative placement of bed on window without it seeming out of place
fresh, stunning use of blues with dark cabinets, a rest from the beige and marbles...
