Lidingo, sink I want, and cool counters!
stack o' ramsjo cabinets at the end, glass on glass. I'm thinking, though, that maybe Lidingo might be better, because I can put sturdier solid shelves behind the mullions. Just a thought.
example of how to deal with a corner. I would put a cabinet facing out into the next room, like Mom did, in the corner there.
DISLIKE how you can see the white of the cabinets showing through! I'd take a sharpie to those parts, or something! Just like this homeowner, I would TOTALLY have the cabinet interiors white, to make stuff easy to find.
black, white, red -- just note to self about another kitchen I saw. Consider using that wine holder, in the corner, in place of a mere filler piece, for holding olive oil, vinegar, fish sauce, etc.
gives an idea of how narrow the glass will be on the narrowest of the cabinets. hmmm. also -- note how this white kitchen is IDENTICAL to the black one with red windows. Conspiracy?
Pretty! These are Aristokraft, so -- not bad, if the hardware and finish hole up over the LONG haul!
Aristokraft -- look at the glass-fronted cabinets.
Aristokraft. I like the upper wall cabinets, and the shelf brackety looking things beside the stove.
I like that ceiling fan.
cool, IF, it doesn't fall apart in a couple of years, or if you put cast-iron on it.
great -- if it lasts, and you can put cast-iron on it.
I like those sponge/brush holder things in the flip-out drawer thing.
all well and good, if it doesn't break under the weight of heavy stuff
green roof, green siding, white trim
Someday, I want to do an over-the-garage terrace.
Sigh. So treehousey!
green roof, buttermilk siding, white trim
green roof, black shutters, white house
green roof, red siding!
charcoal siding -- I think I like dark colored siding. A. It doesn't show dirt! B. It looks more craftsman-y.
Now THIS is what I call a VERY POINTY HOUSE! I LOVE very pointy houses!
I like the dairy-barn feeling this place has. It seems very friendly.
cabinets, SINK! HELLO! light fixture, counter
white cabinets, dark counters
Mounting the farmhouse sink ON TOP of the counter is cool! A novel approach!
They appear to have thought of everything. I love the little cubbies and separate hanging spots for coats and whatnot. Now, all they need is a laundry room and a bathroom with a tub, right off this space, for it to be perfectamundo.
green roof, red door, white trim, computer-taupe siding
Is the tall house straw bale, I wonder?
wall color, happy British feel of the space
living roof on a chicken house. awesome.
This is so fantastic, it made me vocalize. I mean, how fairy-tale-rific can you get? Stone! Look at that roof! Look at those eaves! Look at the way the house is wider at the bottom and tapers as it goes up! Look at the door! Look at the view! It's like something out of a fantasy!
color scheme of exterior
NEAT! Check out the peak of the roof! The stair-stepped/terraced planted part, and are those solar panels? So cool!
I covet it.
Surprise, surprise, surprise! It's Portlandia!
Love the little balcony with the spiral staircase. What a great thing for parties, too. It doubles your seating!
Big basketweave, with contrasting border tile! Gorgeous. I love the buffet/dresser turned sink vanity, too.
