Not going to have an entryway anymore. But looking for ways to make the hall nicer and a real transition space. Wallpaper, mirrors, coat closet, place to put shoes? On wall inside living room just to left of front door. Build it in?
like the wall paper! like the molding on the wainscot
love the style, the floor pattern, the color, the light fixture, having a mirror over the radiator cover
looks so much better when a dark color! not this particular one, though, but do like high shelves
high shelf, nice seat. put shoe trays underneath? don't want white. use baskets on shelves for hats/gloves/etc? They will always look uncentered and messy though.
put ikat or other bright rug in entry space to define it, set off from rest of living room.
love all the colors & patterns, wallpaper plus rug plus green chandelier plus dark wood with blonde wood floors. love love love
don't like the shape of the piece, but like the idea of centering a mirror in the middle and shelves above! no place for coats here, though
like the mix of patterns! like the faded rug, looks loved, think I would tire of the cherry blossom wallpaper but love the idea of using it to define the space. like the side shelves, will end up leaving keys there
