Triple Gourd Table Lamp in Cinnamon with Bronze Base - $261.80 »
Awesome lamp. "Bronze" and "Cinnamon" as colors in a palette are awesome.

Great pattern for a rug. I like orange, but incorporating it into a space is tough. This fabric makes me think that maybe creating a somewhat neutral room with either blues or greys, and then having a carpet like this be an accent

Mack with Orange Cord Table Lamp - $89.95 »
Cool lamp. Maybe too modern and sleek for me, but it could be a really cool accent, and definitely a conversation piece. Its clear too so its visually unobtrusive.

Yellow walls with Danish style furniture piece as feature. Love the wooden credenza. The color of the Buddha statue is a perfect accent for that yellow color. Don't like the glass table, or the beachy wall art.

Using the dressing screen as a small, unobtrusive room divider.

LOVE the color of this piece, and the glass doors make it unique, and somehow a cut above IKEA furniture, and makes whats inside feel special.
eclectic home office by Aesthetic Outburst
Yes. Just...yes. This desk, this chair, and the simple uncluttered lines of it all. This is the kind of work space I want. I must find that chair.

As much as I love Danish/MCM/wooden desks...I really love this industrial looking metal desk.

I like the idea of the stacked books. It looks kind of like a book store. It is also very functional, because I feel like I usually have a few books "out" at all times that I want access to. Why not just accept this natural process, and ALL your books out so you can pick at them as you choose. The simple chair next to the table encourages a quick sit to poke through some books, while you choose one you want to take over to a more comfortable chair and settle down with.

I love that little radio that keeps popping up. Here, I like the "built-in" drawers. Very unique to see drawers in a wall like that. I also love the thick white baseboard, the white chair rail, and all of the pronounced white trim over top of the yellow. I don't love the table/chair set.

LILLESAND Bed frame - $149.00 »
What I like: This is a cheap way to bring it a bit of that carefree bohemian look to a room. This kind of bed feels very classic, and has the potential to give a room some character
What I don't like: It's IKEA. A "real" version of this bed would be solid all the way through, with meatier metal. This bed shows its cheapness in the screws that attach the footboard, and I'm sure the texture of the metal.

Jute Diamond Rug - $49.00 »
I like this rug. Adds authenticity too a room, and create a new texture. I think it would only work over hardwood.

I just really love this desk. This is the second time I've clicked on it. The look here is slightly industrial, but undeniably comfy. I feel like the vintage industrial look is perfect for a sewing center. I also love the use of the spring mirrors as wall decor.
eclectic living room by Holly Marder
This is a gorgeous, unique, inspiring, comfy, brilliantly designed room. It is somehow exciting and calming all at the same time. When I live in a house where I can have full control over all elements, I MUST remember to create floors like this.

This is family photos done right. Photos are tricky because they all have such importance in themselves, but unfortunately sometimes they can really ruin the design of a room. Not the case here. Not only do these photos SCREAM personality and preciousness, but they add to the design of this room in a big way. This is definitely an idea to remember.

Again, the large scale, vintage-looking, B&W photos are stunning. These pictures are ones that a guest could look at, like art, for a long time. They have intrigue, and personality. A lot of little pictures in varying frames can get lost in a room, and never really looked at...so what's the point? These, you can't take your eyes off of. This encourages me to simplify the pictures in my space, pick the best ones, blow them up, put them in B&W, and arrange them where you can see them.

Black and Navy. Great combo. Great wall covering options here too. And are those IKEA Expedit shelves? If not, you could mock-up the same look using them.

eclectic living room by ABCD Design LLC
There is a lot I like here. Obviously, that "wall" or room divider is exceptional. It keeps things open, but separate. It is also very classy looking. I also LOVE the two chairs side by side next to the stacked luggage. I would use this same concept, and put my record player between the two chairs. Love the dark hardwood floors, and the collection of vintage prints which are arranged to perfection.
eclectic living room by Anna Baskin Lattimore Design
This is a fantastic color. Looks like those walls have a bit of age/character. I have the same thing with my old plaster walls. This paint somehow takes what could be considered flaws, and makes them very charming.

Fantastic orange chair. I am eternally attracted to this profile, color, and texture.
eclectic living room by Mark Turner
Using real wood that looks like wood for shelves is awesome. In this case, it takes the warmth of a hand built log cabin, and puts it in a modern setting. Also...that painting is exceptional.
eclectic living room by Artistic Designs for Living, Tineke Triggs
Most people would take the triangular shape of the baby-grand and put in the corner with the keys facing away from the window...I LOVE the placement of this piano, with the sunlight coming in on the keys. When I have room for my piano, this is an idea I'd like to keep.
eclectic living room by Kaylovesvintage
The side table is one of the coolest pieces I've ever seen anywhere. I'll probably never be able to find something like that for myself, but if it ever comes up, you better believe I'll be buying it at any cost.
eclectic living room by Mark English Architects, AIA
This color pallet is unreal. It takes real talent, and precise skill to effectively pull off colors like this. That light, icy blue is beautiful and goes perfectly with the orange. They calm each other, and excite each other. The cream in the stark black elephant prints finishes the whole thing off, as well as the wood tones in the roof. Expertly done. The vibe of this room is one that I would like to be in constantly.
eclectic living room Small Space
Eames loungers like this can be very difficult to place in a room, especially a small one. I actually like the set-up of putting it right next to a small couch, without too severe of an angle.
eclectic living room by Two Story Cottage
When I have room for a piano in my home, this is an exceptional layout. Creating the intimate space, where it is almost like the "performer" is casually sitting amongst the listeners creates a comfortable "parlor" feel. I know how much my mom loves listening to me play, and this would be a very comfortable setting for it.
eclectic living room by decordemon
Just the right amount of quirk. This is a sophisticated space, with a lot of character. The large black and white photo is incredibly intriguing and brings the essence of that photo to the whole room. Obviously, the exposed brick and unique window coverings take this space to the next level and we don't all have the advantage of those elements in our space, but I think there is a lot to be learned from this space anyway.

In small spaces, it is a challenge to stylishly, and functionally work in a desk space. I think this is a nice solution.
eclectic living room by Jamie Laubhan-Oliver
I like this look for a creative space in a home. The big take aways here are: simplicity and open space. Repurposed wood as wall cover. Black glossy floors. Warm window coverings. Industrial hardware. Inviting furniture.

GREAT TV PLACEMENT. Books shelves make this room smart and cozy. The window is intriguing as well.

Beautiful piano. Great mirror.

Exposed brick + charming dark original hardwood floors + exposed beams + minimal furniture = warm inviting loft space.
eclectic living room shabby boho-chic
I like the layout a lot. It looks like the Eames chair has a velvety, or suede cover, which is very attractive. The plush rug is great. I like the incorporation of the dining table into the living room, and the placement of the coffee table. I like the table lamp on the floor.
eclectic living room by Van Wicklen Design
Love the "banner" above the window. Finding a meaningful statement and broadcasting in that way is design friendly, and personally powerful.
eclectic living room by Tracy Murdock Allied ASID
The chair directly facing the art makes me think about creating a vignette that serves as a "thinking spot" where one could sit directly in front of a powerful, and large scale, piece of art and dream.
eclectic living room High Point Market October 2011
Built in place for hanging blankets...genius. Those things are always getting balled up, thrown on the ground, haphazardly strewn on the back of the couch, or mashed into the crevice of the couch. Even when an organized attempt is made to create a home for them, they never get put back there. I feel like this is a functional, and stylish solution.
