Armoires, Cabinets, Cubbies, & Closets #CherryPieAndRoses
Best drawer organizers I've ever seen and they're right here in Chattanooga!
Wonder if I can find something at Tractor Supply to replace this.
DIY-able, I would think.
Take care of those tangles.
I wonder if this could be mounted inside a cabinet door.
Just like a store!
I love using all sizes of Mason Jars (even vintage ones in color). Best source is Ace Hardware; order online and have shipped FREE to your nearest store.
Metal pegboard would have a longer life-expectancy because the holes wouldn't easily get worn larger, thus unusable. A source other than Home Depot, I hope?
Hide that cable mess!
Have a larger one of these sold by the original Martha by Mail (Stewart) which was pretty pricey. Need magnetic label holders.
Says vintage file holder but I think it's a toast holder.
Need to check out these organizers.
Although these look nice, unless they're really heavy-duty glass, I see chipping and breakage ahead. I had an apothecary jar holding only bars of soap and it broke very easily. Food storage should be even more sturdy in order to avoid chips and shards of glass in ingredients.
DIY project ahead, I think.
Like very much.
Another behind-the-coffee/tea-bar option.
Love dishes in drawers but I've seen only the dowel-type dividers until now.
Move acrylic containers from master bath to kitchen tool drawer(s). Buy additional if needed.
What is the clearance for the slide-on hooks? Will they fit in my pantry? Fridge? Cabinets (note ogee edge)?
Already in my pantry
Behind coffee & tea bar?

I think I shall have a wonderful chandelier in the dressing room of my Forever Cottage. Luxury is not only for public spaces.
More than a corner unit in its place, I prefer what this designer has done: abutted one unit into the corner and short-stopping the other to allow for it. Better utilization of space, I think.
I have a nice cabinet with double glass doors which would be great for shoes or handbags.
Nice jewelry drawers lined in mar-resistant Ultrasuede.
I think a pull-out laundry basket would be more space-saving than one which tilts. I do, however, like the pullout shelf which has the appearance of being a drawer. Pullout hangers are efficient and nice for gathering the day's attire.
I recognize some purses here, especially the Kate Spade in a basket weave. I have the same handbag but the leather on mine is a bright pink. Kate is definitely on the top of my fav purse designer.
Yes, they did use larks-head knots but I would not. These are on rings and if the ribbon stays there very long, each piece will need the touch of an iron to remove the wrinkles which would be set-in. These are shorter pieces of ribbon than the rolls of multi-yards I have in every color of the rainbow.
Charming and well-organized. Setting the rods so that the rolls of wrapping paper were vertical would allow much more paper to be stored than in a horizontal position. I wonder how those pieces of ribbon (or fabric strips) are hanging...perhaps just flipped over a rod or maybe the owner used lark's head knots to attach them. I have hundreds of rolls of ribbon.
I will have slatwall installed on all the vertical surfaces of my master walk-in closet. By using fixtures designed for retail, I will be able to create the most highly-personalized space possible with shelves, racks, hangers, pegs, baskets, everything imaginable.
I had planned to elevate my washer and dryer with some sort of cabinetry beneath but this is certainly an elaborate consideration. Very formal with furniture-grade cabinetry. Actually, the cost would not be prohibitive although the curved cornice moulding could be dollar-demanding.
Even more economical are simple open shelves with laundry baskets. If you don't mind looking at dirty laundry and the room is not in public view, this would be the most cost-effective method of sorting.
The appliances can actually be hidden away even if they are attractive. Sometimes you might just want a less work-oriented appearance and these foldaway doors are simple enough to do it.
Here's a less expensive manner of setting-up dirty clothes sorting.
Here is another example showing the sorting drawers in action.
Sort clothes immediately; placing in the walk-in closet immediately adjacent to the laundry room is an ideal location.
Here is another room in lovely blue and white. The laundry room extension of my butler's pantry (as if I had a butler) will continue the blue & white color scheme that I will be using in my forever cottage. I don't know what color washer and dryer I will buy but I anticipate them being red. Oh, yes, I said red. Red will be an important accent color throughout my home. Drama. Drama. Drama.
Rather than enclosing all of my stairway which is above the pantry, finishing with drywall would add about 8"x 42" of air space for each step. With well-fitted cabinetry or shelving, the space could be utilized for storage.
Ditto as noted in my Kitchen Kudos ideabook.
Carrera marble just makes me happy.
This would be fabulous for storing all of my china services and vintage tablecloths. No loss of space...perfect.
Good method of blending tile back splash to the granite by cutting curves into pieces at the sides.
Lovely design which could be used several places: in a butler's pantry, as a buffet, for some beauty in a walk-in closet, more. I like the juxtaposition of a stainless steel back bar which does actually look nice with the carrera marble and the crystal table top chandelier.
Interesting configuration. Some is pull-out but it looks as if the front shelving unit might actually roll and perhaps has a piano hinge on the unseen side.
Oh, I really like the shelves for glasses built-in to the inside of the doors. I might double-up on the metal bars in order to make the glasses more secure when the doors are being opened.
Frosted glass would hide the clutter in the pantry but still allow light through.
I think this is the pantry door available at Home Depot and/or Lowe's. I like the interesting mix of wood finishes with the white-painted china hutch atop a walnut hunt table or buffet. Nice.
I like a little glam, even in a pantry. Swarovski goes anywhere!
Pocket door makes everything visible and easily accessible. Should easily fit in the pantry under the staircase.
