Andy & Belinda's house
Some ideas for your house :)
I like the curtains next to the fireplace- it helps to soften the look of the stone.
This is the look you could get if you leave the wall dark against the fireplace, and lighten the other walls. And the Entertainment center would be on the opposite wall.
This is one possible look you could do in your house- very earthy and natural.
Here is one furniture layout you could use.
The lighter look of the walls with the contrast of darker curtains would also look good. You could also use this color scheme, even if you go with leather, the color would look good in throw pillows and artwork.
This furniture layout is also good for your room.
This type of furniture would look great for your entertainment center, and add some bulk against that large vaulted ceiling
Bedford Tall Cabinet - $1,499
I would use something like this on the wall that has the niche in the ceiling, to help anchor that part of the room.
This is the look I would go for in your piano room. You could either leave the walls painted with the stencils, or paint it all a soft off white. Then add some light beige curtains to the windows, and add two side chairs, or a small settee with a side table ad lamp. Just keep it simple and light.
If you want a splash of color, doing curtains and an accent piece of art like this would also look great in your piano room. Just keep the chairs or small couch light and simple.
2-Seat Linen Daybed, Augustin - GBP 590
A small settee like this would look great in your piano room!
Williams-Sonoma Chelsea Wing Settee - $1,900
This would also look great in the piano room.
I would do something like the top ledge in this picture with your decorative ledge. Use a decorative wrought iron, some candle sticks at a varying height, a piece of pottery or urn, and maybe a plant, or bundled wheat stocks tied with a bow.
something like this would work well grouped with the first pictures items.
Herb Window Box - $59.95
Something like this would look great on the ledge.
